Frequently Asked Questions

  • When we started Brighton Neurodivergent Community we set out to provide what our members wanted. At that point in time, the members we had voted for an age cap of 30. This was revised later to 35, and then 40.

    This age cap has been requested to ensure people can socialise and be themselves without concerns of their parents joining the same group, and to ensure everyone in the group is comfortable.

  • You can “join” Brighton Neurodivergent Community by attending an event, following us on social media, or by joining our Discord server!

  • We do not currently run any groups for people over 40, however we know that PuzzleBored does. Additionally, BAM and Adhoc Autistics both exist for those seeking a non-age related group.

  • You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.

  • The vast majority of our events are free. We occasionally run events at venues that cost, like LaserZone, but this will be advertised in advance. Some of our events we also use as fundraising events, but this will also be advertised in advance.
